Traders! Where do you currently sell your goods? How much does it cost you to take them to market?
|
The biggest problem with any business is how to get the product to market. Just how do you get your product in front
of potential buyers at a reasonable cost?
- Car Boot Sales - Too localised
- Local Flea Market - Too localised
- Your own website - Not enough traffic
- Town center shop - Very expensive
- TV Advertising - Need deep pockets
- Ebay or similar - Very expensive commission
Well, that has been our experience anyway, so as usual, when we see a problem, we look for a solution. The solution we have
come up with for this is not only our own marketplace, but also our own currency which allows us to offer a trading
outlet on a high profile website for only 1% commission.

I recently sold a pair of tickets on Ebay for £100. After Ebay had taken their insertion fees, their
commission and their subsidiary Paypal had taken their fees, I was left with £82.70. I don't know about
you guys, but I just can't do business like that, where I have to part with over
17% of my takings. These guys are taking the p*ss.
No sense in complaining though if you are not going to do anything about it, so I decided that I can offer
a service at least as good as Ebay at only a fraction of the cost. It is simply a case of figuring out how
it will best work and setting the system up.
If you are a trader, or even if you are just an occasional seller, then you too finally have the option
to do something rather than just moan about the high cost of selling on sites like Ebay. You don't have to
do anything as hard as set up a new website. We have done all that hard work for you. All you have to do is to register
on the website, Free of Charge and start using it. Put your stuff up for sale and we will find
the buyers for you and pass 99% of the takings on to you after sale.
As usual, our websites are very clear, very open and simple to use. There are no hidden agendas, no hidden costs and
no nasty surprises. We don't sell your details. We don't let anyone else see your details, unless they
are trading with you, and then only as much as they need to know. More importantly, we don't fleece you like some other
well known, high profile names. We will never make the $6.3 billion profit that Ebay made last year, but then again,
we don't need to. We have no greedy shareholders to answer to.
